Our Story

Rainbow Mortgage Inc. is owned and operated by local mortgage advisors Gale and David Jamison.

Prior to starting Rainbow Mortgage Inc., David worked for a Fortune 500 company as a Sales Manager/Senior Underwriter in a division that closed over 1000 loans per month. Following this, he worked as an outside sales account executive for a national lender which opened his eyes to the world of wholesale lending. Just before starting Rainbow Mortgage Inc., David worked as an Alternative Loan Specialist with Wells Fargo. It was there that he learned how to analyze and structure loans for people with challenging loan scenarios.

In 2001, Gale joined the business and began applying the skills she learned in her nursing career to the mortgage broker business. Skills of organization, time management, and critical thinking allowed her to analyze the operation and implement processes and procedures for a smooth and compliant home mortgage transaction.

In 2004, the mortgage brokers were introduced to the concept of “Collaborative Divorce”. Gale and David found that people going through divorce often had complex financial scenarios requiring a loan professional good at analyzing situations and coming up with creative solutions. The Rainbow Mortgage Inc. team’s experience in working with people with credit and financial challenges made them a good fit for this task. Rainbow Mortgage Inc. began helping people going through divorce to determine their options for home financing following the divorce. It has always been the company’s goal to get both parties into a home and onto a fresh start.

In addition to securing challenging loans and navigating the murky waters of divorce and mortgage, David and Gale are passionate about helping veteran and active duty military members obtain mortgage loans. A veteran himself, David understands the VA Loan process and is here to help our Soldiers, Seamen and Airmen into the homes of their dreams.
